So called because the stems have a sticky secretion that sometimes traps flies, Sticky Catchfly is one of my personal favourites. The largest concetration in Britain is on Arthur's Seat. The main threats to this species on Arthur's Seat is being nibbled by rabbits and being shaded out by shrubs. Grows on dry,rocky places in full sun. A perrenial in bloom from may to august.
