Ragwort is one of the easist wildflowers to identify, growing almost everywhere as long as it's sunny. Almost unmistakeable. It is extremely toxic to horses and other livestock and is easily seen in a horse's field, having been carefully nibbled around. Adored by butterflies, I have seen some spend the entire day on one plant. Ragwort is a perrenial in flower from June to October, sometimes November.
